Red Hat has announced that the Call for Papers (CFP) for its eighth annual Red Hat Summit and JBoss World is now open and accepting submissions. The 2012 open source event, which is aimed at business decision makers, developers and community enthusiasts, will take place from 26 to 29 June 2012 in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center; the event is traditionally used by Red Hat to introduce new products and updates to its portfolio.
Interested parties can submit their proposals online – the deadline for submissions is 16 December. Notifications of whether a proposal has been accepted will be sent in March 2012.Registration is expected to open in early 2012. Photos and videos from the keynote and various sessions from this year's Red Hat Summit and JBoss World, which took place from 3 to 6 May, are available on the 2011 Event Highlights web page.
